As you know, I usually talk about car wrecks in Gulfport or worker's compensation accidents in Biloxi on this blog. I do that because I help people in only four areas: car wrecks, trucking accidents, worker's compensation accidents, and longshore accidents. That's all I do.
However, a lawsuit filed by a lady for her kids against McDonalds caught my eye. When I read it, I said to myself, "And lawyers wonder why we have a bad reputation."
I don't wonder. Lawyers have a bad reputation because it is deserved.
This lawsuit was filed because the happy meals have toys in them and this causes kids to want them.
Parents just can't seem to tell their kids "no."
I can.
