Another lovely experience today with an Ocean Springs lawyer.

Some days, I think I'd rather chew glass than deal with lawyers.

I mean with the glass at least you know that you might get cut.

I mean were they raised by habitual liars for parents?

I wanted the lawyer to give me every piece of paper or picture or whatever he had on this simple car wreck case.

You'd think asking that in over 3 dozen different ways would be enough.

But, nooooooooooooo. . .

I mean, you can't expect that would be good enough.

You see there's this rule (lawyers LOVE rules) that says I get to tell the insurance company lawyer to send me all this stuff.

But, since he's a lawyer common sense and logic just fly right out the window.

So he jacks me around.

Why?

In this situation, probably because he wants to bill the insurance company some more money.

You see, he gets paid by the hour so he makes more money every time he gets me to push more paper at him.

Alishia Newman Killed

A newlywed, Alishia Newman, was killed recently.

The police department indicated she was crossing the railroad tracks and was hit by a train.

And this was not a car-train collision.

That's usually what I see when I write about these types of accidents.

However, according to the police department, Alishia Newman and her friend was walking across the tracks.

Apparently, the friend made it across the tracks and Alishia Newman did not make it.

What a horrible, horrible tragedy for all involved.
