Alishia Newman Killed

A newlywed, Alishia Newman, was killed recently.

The police department indicated she was crossing the railroad tracks and was hit by a train.

And this was not a car-train collision.

That's usually what I see when I write about these types of accidents.

However, according to the police department, Alishia Newman and her friend was walking across the tracks.

Apparently, the friend made it across the tracks and Alishia Newman did not make it.

What a horrible, horrible tragedy for all involved.
