Lawyer Bill Eckert and his law firm ticked off a Judge.  Look, you don't want to tick off a Judge no matter what you do as a lawyer.

And if you've read my blog before, you know that I routinely run into some lawyers, who shall we say, to put it midly, are a pain in the neck.

So what happened is Lawyer Bill Eckert and his law firm got what we lawyers call "sanctioned" by a Judge for what the Judge says is harassment, unnecessary expenses, and a whole list of other things.

The initial fine from the Judge was over $12,000.00!!!

I can tell you that Judges don't do that very often.

So to get out of paying the $12 grand Lawyer Bill Eckert appeals to a higher court.  They still fine him but he gets it reduced to $3,000.00.
